Take a Stand!
We depend on nature for food, clean water, medicine, jobs and economic growth. It’s our turn to help the world’s rarest species by making conservation of wildlife and their habitats across the globe a priority. Elected officials and the media need to know we care about saving species so we can help countries and local communities save the species and ecosystems that we all rely on. You can make a difference! Send a letter urging Congress to take action to protect threatened habitats and species around the world. Take Action »

Why it Matters to You
Here in the U. S., the health of ecosystems like rainforests and coral reefs, and the welfare of species like tigers and rhinos aren’t a political priority. But they should be! Ecosystems and species across the globe matter to all of us. Lots of our paper and timber comes from rainforests. All the coffee, bananas, and chocolate we consume is from tropical forests as well. Up to half of the prescription medicines used to treat diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer and heart disease come from compounds discovered in plants and animals. Jobs and the economy here in America and around the world also rely on these ecosystem services. Learn more »
